Our second stay in 3 months at Balmoral Lodge was the perfect little getaway. The property overlooks a beautiful body of water, providing a tranquil atmosphere. The clever layout of the lodges ensures privacy and a personal touch. The attention to detail, from complete cutlery sets to a pull-out TV, made our stay comfortable. The electric gated entrance added a premium touch, and we always felt safe and welcomed. Cooking evening meals was a breeze, with a nearby Tesco just a 5/6 minute drive away. A wonderful place to stay!
Would recommend this hotel.

The lodge was well-presented and everything was well looked after. We really enjoyed the peaceful and quiet location, with beautiful views. The hot tub and outdoor shower were a great addition and were kept clean throughout our stay.- We appreciated the extra touches, such as the complimentary wine, chocolates, jams, and biscuits.
It would have been helpful to have a few extra towels, especially during colder weather when it's harder to dry them. While the lodge was warm and cozy, we felt that the heating could have been more efficient.

Loveliest little lodge with everything you need. Lovely Christmas decorations for a perfect touch. Quiet location surrounded by nature. Inside had everything from towels to pans. Perfect cosy temperature with blasting heat. Attention to detail was super and little extra touches made it special. Tranquil countryside location just a short drive to town. Ducks became regular visitors and running ducks were full of character. Perfect stay for our anniversary. Lodge and surroundings were beautiful and relaxing. Fishing was easy to book and pond was well stocked. Relaxing weekend away.
Wifi wasn't the best, but didn't bother us.
